MASTODON: Exclusive Video On Music Choice 'On-Demand'

MASTODON will be teaming up with Music Choice, the nation's leading multi-platform music network, to launch its February 2006 releases, "The Workhorse Chronicles" DVD and "Call of the Mastodon" collection.

Starting today (Monday, February 6),Music Choice will be premiering a live video for "Leviathan" single "Blood and Thunder". The video is taken from "The Workhorse Chronicles" DVD that will be available in stores February 21. The "Blood and Thunder" live video will be available exclusively on Music Choice On-Demand throughout the month of February. "The Workhorse Chronicles" DVD features over three hours of exclusive MASTODON footage, in-depth interviews with each band member, candid behind-the-scenes shots from the band's personal video archives and a career spanning range of live performances — including rare footage of the band in their initial form as a five piece through to sold-out clubs worldwide. Additionally, MASTODON's "Call of the Mastodon" will be released on Tuesday, February 7. Comprised of the first nine tracks the young quartet had ever written, "Call of the Mastodon" is an audio document of a then-new band finding its own space. The nine track session (some of whose original recordings comprised the "Lifesblood" mini-CD) was remixed and remastered by original engineer Matt Washburn, and features all new packaging courtesy of the band's longtime artist Paul Romano.
